Get the key
Website keys arrive by email. Retail USB keys are printed under the seal on the activation card.

Activate online
Enter the key in the License & Activation window on the authorized computer.
How do I activate a physical USB Edition?
Install Nest XL from the included USB, register the sealed Retail Activation Code at nestxl.com/redeem, then enter the same code in the License & Activation window. The USB license is perpetual with no expiration date and automatically authorizes one Windows computer.
Where do I enter the key?
Open the License & Activation window from Nest XL, or attempt a production DXF export while in Demo Mode. Paste the complete key and choose Activate License.
Why is export still blocked?
Verify that the license matches the edition. Standard and 24-Hour Pass keys cannot unlock Corporate. Corporate keys are intended for Corporate only.
Does reinstalling restart a 24-Hour Pass?
No. The pass is recorded by the licensing server and remains assigned to the authorized computer. Reinstalling does not create a second 24-hour period.
Can I use the same key on another computer?
Each current license allows one authorized computer. Contact support when a legitimate computer replacement requires assistance.
What happens after cancellation or expiration?
Nest XL returns to Demo Mode. Your projects remain available, but production DXF export is disabled until a valid license is activated.
